StatSheet now projects Pittsburgh to make the NIT as a three seed. The Panthers are sitting at #101 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 15-12 overall record and a 4-10 record in the Big East.

During its last four games, Pittsburgh picked up a win against Villanova but also took a step backwards with losses to RPI #35 West Virginia and RPI #30 Seton Hall.

Pittsburgh is weak against top competition, with a 5-10 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-7 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-4 record against AP ranked teams. While the Panthers have two quality wins including RPI #35 West Virginia and AP #10 Georgetown, they're also weighed down by two bad losses including RPI #150 Rutgers and RPI #180 DePaul.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Ole Miss (15-10, 5-6 SEC, StatRank #59), Colorado State (15-9, 4-5 Mountain West, StatRank #33), Illinois (16-10, 5-8 Big Ten, StatRank #53), and Kansas State (17-8, 6-7 Big 12, StatRank #57).

The first four teams out are Brigham Young (22-6, 10-3 West Coast, StatRank #44), LSU (15-10, 5-6 SEC, StatRank #74), Minnesota (17-9, 5-8 Big Ten, StatRank #66), and Washington (18-8, 11-3 Pac 12, StatRank #72).

The next four out are Arizona (19-8, 10-4 Pac 12, StatRank #69), Colorado (17-8, 9-4 Pac 12, StatRank #71), Oregon (18-8, 9-5 Pac 12, StatRank #70), and St. Joseph's (PA) (17-10, 7-5 A-10, StatRank #47).
